good evening one and all! i am now back in the haps island of singapore! woots! i cannot tell you how glad i am to be back home, in the comfort of my own home. it's liberating! what's more... i'm now the new proud owner of an acer laptop! woots! can you feel my excitement?! huh!?! can you?! can you?! after like 6 months, i've finally made the commitment. heh...
and fyi, i'm still feeling the rocking motion from the ferry man. i know i'm sitting down and only moving my fingers but i feel like my whole body is still rocking/swaying and i'm getting a bit dizzy from that. woah! :(
this week's batam adventure was not too bad. i guess with the crew's familiarity with me, it was easier to talk and joke around with them. i secretly think that it was also cos they knew who i was (my dad's daughter), so they were also nicer to me. maybe i'm overthinking this. heh.
something i realised this week; perhaps the thing that was holding me back from being efficient during my previous time in batam was fear. my fear that i don't know the system as well as i should, my fear that i can't teach/train the crew properly, my fear that i could not answer their queries. it turns out, some of them like the way i taught. :) they said i spoke clearly and they could understand me as compared to the indian trainer, whose accent is very strong, and that i smelt better. of cos i smelt better, i like totally sprayed a lot of perfume before i head to the yard. i'm glad that i could answer the questions posed, and that i did know the system well. (maybe not as well as i'd like to). so i'm happy. :) and i must really thank those crew for being such a good sport with this new system. THANK YOU!
now i'm going off to bed.. tired and waking up early for touch! :) nights world. have a good weekend.
